Supporting Learning from Home

As we continue in this time of uncertainty, we thought it was a good time to unpack the resources the NSW Department of Education have added to their learning from home page. There are useful resources to support families as you support your child with their remote learning from home.

With the support of teachers across the stage, the NSW Department of Education has put together a wide range of resources to support learning at home. These can be found here: https://education.nsw.gov.au/teaching-and-learning/learning-from-home

We've broken down some of the information to save you time searching for useful tips and resources:

1. Education Live: You may have seen these events being promoted on our Facebook page. They are not compulsory, but could enthuse and engage your child in the mornings. The livestreams are saved on the page, so if your child can't view when they are live, they can come back to them at a later date. This is where you will find them: https://education.nsw.gov.au/teaching-and-learning/learning-from-home/education-live

3. Advice to students: This page provides some set up information for students around making sure they have a dedicated learning space, a copy of their timetable and calendar and scheduling regular breaks between tasks.
